Pay your traffic fines online – MOI Kuwait portal

I just paid 55 KD in fines today for a couple of traffic offenses. They happened about two years ago but since I’m taking my car for its very first inspection this week I thought I might settle whatever dues were pending. The Ministry of Interior website for some reason seems to like only Internet Explorer and when you click on ‘Pay Violations’ it prompts you to use IE.

If you haven’t paid your fines online its quite simple. First of all check for any open offenses using your Civil ID number and if you’re lucky enough to have any it will show up as a list along with the date of the offense, the time, type of violation and the amount due.Once you’ve confirmed the details, click on ‘Pay violations’  and it takes you to the K-net payment portal. I had switch from my Firefox browser to IE to make the payment, I don’t know if thats the case for Chrome and Safari users too.

My father tells me that I can dispute certain offenses if they were under special circumstances like how I got ‘flashed’ for crossing a red light but I guess its easier to just pay the fine rather than arguing with a police officer. In case you want to discuss it with them you’ll have to get in touch the Traffic dept in Shuwaikh area.

You are one lucky man….I had to surrender my license for 2 weeks for overpassing a redlight signal….and you just paid it online. Be careful, I have heard that you can pay only your first red light offense online…after that you have to go in person and they will ask you to surrender the license and in some cases even your car number plate!

Howdy! I know this is kind of off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are you using for this site? I’m getting sick and tired of WordPress because I’ve had problems with hackers and I’m looking at options for another platform. I would be great if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.
