All the kings horses and all the kings men

We were on our way back from a party on thursday night when we noticed a strange sound from one of the tires… a flat tire !!

A team of ‘engineers’ spent more than two hours trying to dislodge the faulty wheel but to no avail. The strange thing was that the wheel had somehow jammed itself onto the hub and none of us could even budge it by an inch !

I’ve changed flat tires before but this is the first time I’ve encountered this problem ! Have any of you ?

update: the next day my friend went along with a mechanic to change tires and all he did was gently tap the faulty wheel and it came right off ! Amazingly  a school drop-out with no engineering degree got the job done!! 🙂

  1. I always have that problem. If you change tires at a garage, they use a power tool to screw back on the tires and the damn thing won’t come off unless you use a power tool to unscrew it!

    1. We took off the nuts but there was something holding the wheel to the hub, not sure if there’s some kind of lock on the wheel.

  2. look at the bright side.. you got to burn all those calories you piled on at the party…!!
